eriro stands at 1,550 metres on the Ehrwalder Alm beneath the Zugspitze, reached by cable car and a ten-minute walk. Nine rooms, built almost entirely of local larch, stone and wool, with nothing above it but mountain.
The philosophy is radical localism: everything on the plate and in the spa comes from the surrounding valleys, and the daily programme follows the weather rather than a schedule. All-inclusive means guiding, treatments and food are simply part of staying.

eriro's winter programme, from three nights at 1,550 metres beneath the Zugspitze — the same radical localism, with snowshoes instead of boots.
Guided snowshoe touring and winter foraging replace the summer hiking, alongside sauna, cold immersion, alpine herbal treatments and a fixed daily menu drawn from the Tyrolean valleys. Everything is included, and the short days push the rhythm towards fire, food and sleep.
Those who prefer winter mountains to summer ones, and anyone wanting an alpine retreat where the snow is the programme.
A thoughtfully curated collection of experiences designed to enrich your stay. From wellness and nature to culture and gastronomy, each moment invites you to slow down, reconnect, and immerse yourself in the essence of the estate.
