Sterrekopje is a 50-hectare healing farm in the Franschhoek valley, an hour from Cape Town, restored from a 1789 Cape Dutch wine estate by two founders who deliberately rejected the hotel model. It calls its guests 'guests of the farm'.
The farm is regenerative and biodynamic, and the programme follows it: hands in the soil, horses, a cellar spa, fireside gathering and food grown metres from the table. There is no spa menu — treatments are offered as they are needed.

An open-format stay at Sterrekopje, the 50-hectare healing farm in the Franschhoek valley — from two nights, with no fixed programme because the farm is the programme.
Days are shaped by the land: hands in the biodynamic garden, time with the horses, water rituals and treatments in the old wine cellars, fireside gathering and food grown metres from the table. There is no spa menu; treatments are offered as they seem to be needed, which is the point.
Anyone tired of being processed — and who would rather be treated as a guest of a farm than a client of a clinic.
