Dexamenes is a 1920s wine factory on the Ionian shore at Kourouta, converted with almost nothing added: concrete wine tanks became rooms, the industrial shell was left raw, and the sea starts where the courtyard ends.
It is a place for slow, elemental days — sea swimming, olive oil and local produce, yoga on the platform, and a bar in the old tank hall. The programming is light-touch and seasonal rather than clinical.

A single-day workshop at Dexamenes on the Ionian shore, built entirely around olive oil — the Peloponnese's defining ingredient, used as food, cosmetic and medicine.
The day covers tasting and production with local growers, then a hands-on session blending oils into scrubs, balms and treatments, followed by an olive-oil-based body ritual. A lunch built on Elis produce and time on the hotel's sea platform complete it.
Anyone curious about the ingredient at the centre of Greek life, and those who would rather make something than be treated.
